My dad, Fred, was something of a local radio celebrity. For three decades he was a frequent and featured caller on Twin Cities' radio talk shows. He is most remembered for his visits with Tommy Mischke. So although my dad passed on into the airwaves in 2007, his renowned talks live on! (Pictured above: My dad as Santa Claus.) He played the jolly character EVERY YEAR for family and neighbors; for a few years he took the gig professional at Ridgedale Mall.
